Food Sites n’ Recipe Ideas

I’ve been getting almost all of my new recipes from AllRecipes.com for quite some time now.  I use their app on my phone and I don’t know if it’s the way I am searching, but I am seeing the same old recipes come up.  So I decided to look for other sources for new recipes.

One place you won’t find me is in the local bookstore or library in the cookbook section.  Why spend money or time on a book that you may only need 5 recipes out of when you can find equivalent recipes online.  Even the major chefs have recipes online, so if you want to find recipes by Giada De Laurenta simply google “Giada recipes” (don’t tell her I said that).

IMG_9315editI wanted to pass along this website that lists America’s Best Food Blogs.  Quite a variety out there.  I could spend all day perusing through all of these blogs.  It didn’t take me long before I found a recipe I want to try in the next week.  What do you think?

Even still, I’m looking for a new FREE recipe app.  I like to look for recipes while my husband is driving me home from work.  Do you have a favorite site or app that you use to find fabulous new recipes?  Share it in the comments!
